Originally from Washington D.C., Emma graduated from the College of William and Mary with a major in Psychology and a minor in Hispanic Studies. In 2011, after years of practicing her Oscar acceptance speech in front of the bathroom mirror, she moved to Chicago to take on her dream of live performance.
Emma is currently a member of the Second City's 107th Mainstage revue, Algorithm Nation Or The Static Quo. She has experience improvising at a number of theaters around Chicago (iO, CIC, The Annoyance) and spent two years as an actor for The Second City Touring Company. She has also written and produced a monthly variety show featuring female performers in Chicago, called JOAN. Emma has filmed feature length productions (Party Time Party Time and Scraps), a five-part TV series (Thrifted), was featured on an NBC series (Shrink), as well as multiple comedic and industrial shorts. You can see her in commercials for Lowe's, Fresh Thyme Farmer's Market, and The Illinois Lottery. She has trained at iO Theater, The Annoyance, and Acting Studio Chicago.
